Hello, 

There was a wireless transmitting station located at Prenton which was used in connection with the Western Approaches centre at Derby House during World War 2.

Does anyone know anything about the place or location etc  Are there any remains?

There are excellent photographs of it on the IWM website

It was possibly near the water tower or golf course
