Searching for the Finlay family that moved around the area, but notably ran Royal Rock Hotel around the turn of the 19th century. According to family, my great-great grandfather and mother were killed together in a cart crash in 1899 leaving four children behind, but I only find a record of my gg'grandfather's death at this time, and a will leaving everything to his widow. Does this story ring a bell with anyone? Does anyone know anything of the hotel?
