Does anyone know where this picture can be found, it is shown on the oldwirral website under the history of Birkenhead.  Is it still hanging somewhere or a copy in a book?  I would love to see it as it was painted by my 4 x great grandfather!smile

Hi Sharon, thanks for the reply. I have quite a lot of information about the family & have a tree of my direct relatives however I haven't come across Florece Jane Eyes before during my research. There is also a tree posted on the internet for Edward Eyes, first son of Charles.  My g g grandfather was  another Charles, his second son. If you are interested in contacting me directly I can give you my email ad.

The Eyes family tree on the internet has been done by a cousin of my mothers, and her name is Karen O’Hare and she is a granddaughter of Margaret Eyes. The family tree is incomplete and still under construction.

The people featured are my grandmother’s ancestors, and the pictures come from the family bible which is kept by another relative who is a descendent of Amy Eyes. My grandmother’s parents were Leonard Harrison Eyes and Elizabeth Mills. The pictures of young Leonard, Amy, Agnes and Margaret are some of my Grandmothers siblings.

Please feel free to message me your email and we can share information.

Sharon

hello,

I have Karen's family tree which traces the decendants of Edward Eyes.

My tree follows that of his brother Charles. I still have the family bible of Charles which lists quite a lot of details.

You can contact me at davidpaddy@btinternet.com and I will send you more details.

I have copies of two of Charles Eyes maps + photos of various others. Also copies of wills from 1720 onwards.

Cheers, paddy

Hello Paddy, This painting was painted by your great grandfather 4 times removed?  Where are you from?

The reason I'm asking is because I'm a descendant of Charles Eyes on my mother's side.
