My 4 x grandfather, Edward Standish worked at one of the Neston Coal mines as did his sons and other Standish family members.
Edward was employed as a coal miner in 1763 when he was abt 21 years old. I am trying to locate any information about the Standish name in the Neston area that might hold clues to the Standish lines employment and possible birth locations.
