Shops on Wirral

Hi  I am trying to find information about a shop that sold Manx woollen blankets
 in Liscard circa 1917--19

When my mother was given up for fostering in 1918 she was wrapped in a manx tartan blanket, In doing her family research i am trying to establish if there is a link with the Isle of Man
