Good Morning, I am Rod Gebhardt fro Cape Town, South Africa and have been researching my grandmother's family for many years. She was Gwladys Owen BROSTER, born in Queenstown, Cape Province, passed away in Florida, Transvaal, now known as Gauteng.
Her farther was Thomas BROSTER born in Wrexham, Wales where he eventually worked as a clerk for the Post Office. He came out to SA and settled in Queenstown where he was Headmaster at one of the schools there. He was instrumental in starting cricket at the schools. He retired to Bethlehem, Orange Free State, where he passed away at his son's house.
I picked up on all the posts on the KENDRICK/BROSTER connections. This has been one of my brickwalls in connection them to the main BROSTER family.

At the time of his death David Kendrick’s occupation is given as a Clerk and his address as 20 Ringwood Flats, 2nd Avenue, Rhodes Street, Bulawayo.
