As a child I spent quite a lot of time in the convalescent home in Thingwall. We were all children struggling to recover from chest illnesses and we varied in ages. My time there was relatively happy although I missed my family like mad. I recall that there was a hit record at the time called "Hello Mother, Hello Father, here I am at Camp Granada" it was a comedy song and we children adopted it as our own! I've tried looking for information about the home but had no luck. Does anyone else remember it?
