Having recently moved to Bromborough I am busy exploring the area. I saw a lane on Allport Lane opposite the Treetops surgery buildings, leading down to what I thought was a cut through. As I walked down I was stopped by some workmen who said it was private property. I could see a very old stone house possibly 2 storey. I cant find any info about it in my local history books and it is impossible to see it for trees on Google earth. Can anyone tell me the name of the house and any information? Going around to manor road I can see that monks cottage seems to back onto it or is it part of the property?
