I would very much like to remake contact with an old school pal Michael J Roberts, we went to Pensby Secondary Modern, 1952 - 1955, Form 4b I think. He lived nearby the Pensby Hotel,in a road opposite. He also had an Uncle Alf (Roberts) who was a Blacksmith, and worked at Dawpool Farm, Thurstaston for C.A.G. Howell. Mick and I would often go to the Cheshire Show and at the time were good mates.
Others in the class were Barbara Corkhill, Jean Shakeshaft, Tony Connor, Pauline Mills and David Bowman, a fantastic pianist at 12/13.
Headmaster at time was Mr Ryder.
