I have had an email asking about the river Dibbin.
Lately, myself aged 58 and friends of mine were reminiscing about our youth and our days as children when we left our mark in the woodlands of Bromborough, Spital, Raby and beyond. It wasn't long before we were at loggerheads over the route that the Dibbin took (and the part it played in being a canal) before entering the Mersey at Bromborough pool, where the Clatter comes into the equation and where they might merge before the pool. Also, which of these run into and out of Raby Mere.
I suppose I may need an Ordnance survey map of a certain time, but was hoping you may help me in answering some of these questions
