I am not sure if this is the place to make this enquiry but here goes. I have been asked to draw up a series of A3 posters that will be displayed at various points along the Wirral shore of the River Mersey. This is part of a joint project between the Crown Agent and the Royal Mersey Yacht Club. The RMYC acts as agent for the Crown Agent with respect to moorings on the Wirral side of the river. I have started with a draft poster for Rock Ferry and would very much like to use one of the old views of the pier that appear on the web site. I have read your copyright statement but felt I should check in before proceeding. Chris
Sorry for the late reply. The copywrite is for the website and title 'Old 'Wirral' and for any photographs taken by me or uploaded by me which say specifically "Copywrite Old Wirral". If your unsure about sepcific ones drop me an e mail.
As for the permissions of the other photographs there are many different owners most of which have expired now. Im also lead to belive that you cannot copywrite a black & white photograph although im not sure how true that is.
Thats not to say you cant use any of the images iv taken or iv uploaded, your more than welcome. Just let me know first so i can tell my friend who took some of them and is in a few of them.
