Hi Jess53 , i am a Dodd myself and my Dodd side of the family were based around Bebington and New Ferry. This side of the family moved from Bickerton (near Malpas) to Bebington c 1830.
I am related to the Cooke family through my mother whose ashes are in a grave at Frankby Church. The family were in Greasby before taken by death and before Greasby, they were in West Kirby in the old village. Muffin
Hi, my Great Grandmother was Ann Dodd b. abt 1849 (Salop Waters Upton, Shropshire) married to my Great Grandfather George Bowen (Lived most of their lives in Oxton). (George it seems disappeared around the late 1800's and may have died 1911/12.
The family lived / worked / had connections with 3 Newburns Lane (Dolly Tub Cottages), 16 Birch Road, 31 Arno Road, 23 Hughes Lane, 7 Parrs Lane.
If any of this connects with you or you have any information / help that you can give to aid my research it would be much appreciated.

Coathupe or Coathup - maternal grandfather who married Annie Ethel Preece in 1914. But can't find out anything further back for him anfd family.
France - father's family have quite a bit of information for this family which came to Wallasey in early 1900s from Quernmore, Lancashire.
Would love to hear from anyone else with similar family names
