Mostyn house school

Mostyn house school in parkgate was first used as a school about 1855 and by about 1865 the Grenfell family took it over and six generations later they are still there in the form of Susan Grenfell.Below are some pictures of the school including a postcard sent by A.G.Grenfell in 1903

They usually open the school and air raid shelter up once a year for a tour. Well worth the visit i must say, plus its free; always a bonus.

And once the tour finishes into nicholls for a homemade ice cream

Oh dearie me - it's definitely nostalgia time.
These pics of yours and Dr Frick's of the hovercraft have made my day.
