The attached postcard is of the parkgate sailing regatta which stopped taking place in 1914.I've attached a picture of the back of the card as it is a message from a royal welsh fusilier (based at parkgate in 1915) to his sweetheart and if you notice the stamp is set at an angle,this was a secret message to his sweetheart meaning a kiss.Different coloured stamps set at different angles meant messages which varied from i love you to forget me not.They were a romantic lot in them days weren't they
