Hi M.P.

I have every detail on W.G. Thompson and his extended family you could possibly want.... what specifically would you like to know?

Your husband and I are related through W.G. Thompsons Durham born parents;
Edmund Scott Thompson 1859 – 1883
Margaret Ann Burdis 1859 – 1935

The above are my 2xg grandparents

Their children were;
William George Thompson 1878 – 1945
Margaret Jane Thompson 1880 – 1882
Edmund Thompson 1883 – 1953

Edmund is my great grandfather

W.G.'s mother, Margaret, had another family (dynasty more like) to her second husband, Gloucester born George John Barrow 1851 – 1916

their children were;
Arthur George Barrow 1886 – 1959
Laurence Barrow 1889 – 1956
Gertrude Muriel Barrow 1891 – 1958
Violet Ethel Barrow 1893 – 1969
Percy Cecil Barrow 1896 – 1977

W.G.'s wife of 1901 was Catherine Parsonage 1881 – 1933
Their children were:

William George Thompson 1904 – 1966
Catherine Thompson 1906 – 1991
Percival Cecil Thompson 1907 – 1967
Lawrence Thompson 1909 – 1911
Margaret Muriel Thompson 1910 – 1974
Sarah Thompson 1913 – 1988
Reuben Charles Thompson 1915 – 1994
Vera Thompson 1916 – 2003
Robert Howell Thompson 1923 –

According to my records Sarah Thompson Married Harold Cleverley and they had;
Harold E Cleverley 1937 –
Muriel Cleverley 1940 –
Jean Cleverley 1942 –
Patricia Cleverley 1947 –
Sylvia Cleverley 1949 –
Kenneth Cleverley 1953 –

I did write a very detailed and intricate history of W.G. but apparently the site loses every thing if you switch to the advanced editor and have to log in again due to an expired page.... grrrrrrr.... :o(

Hope the above is of use to you?

Kind regards
Laurence
