old rock ferry names, Grimmer 1900's

I have traced my great grand mother to Eberneezer street rock ferry she was 4 months old in the 1891 census, Her name was Sarah Ann Grimmer she had brothers and sisters, Richard, Charles Edward, and James not sure of the sisters name or if there was more children.  I would like to no if any of her family stayed in the Wirral, I've found out that her father was drowned accidently in canning dock Liverpool  Dec 26th 1913. his name was James grimmer born arcle Norfolk in 1858. her mother's name was Louise Elizabeth Allen born 1860 in Kirby cane Suffolk died in Birkenhead 1925 if you think this could be your family tree drop us a line thank you in advance, Futurepast

Hi, I think we are related through my husband's family. His great grandfather was James Grimmer, brother of your Sarah Ann. James's descendants remained in the Wirral and most of them are still there today (my husband moved down south but his immediate family are still in the Wirral/Cheshire area. I hope this reaches you as I have only just seen this post from a couple of years ago. Feel free to contact me if you would like further info.

Hi Lynda

My husband's grandmother was Dorothy Grimmer, sister of Sarah Ann and George.  I'm fascinated to read that their father James was murdered (I thought he accidently drowned - www.old-merseytimes.co.uk/deaths1913.html). I would really appreciate any information you can share regarding the murder. Regards Sandra
