Shore House

Hi, I was in Moreton in the 80's to visit Shore House in Moreton.  My gr gr Uncle Arthur Pritt Foden had built the house in the early 1900's for his sister Hannah Tyson and her daughter Lydia.  It was a Doggy Grooming Salon when we were there.  I actually have the orginal plans to the house from when it was built.

There seems to be a growth industry in Moreton nowadays on the most expensive commodity on the planet - vanity. If its not sun tan parlours, its nail salons and beauty parlours. The Moreton I grew up in has gone, forever. Goodbye character, hello plastic.
