The Ruby.. I was named for her. My Mum and Dad met on her when going to Eastham woods. He was a deck hand and she was with her Mum and Dad going for a camping trip with the Boy Scouts!

Hi Ruby

Would that be the same Ruby paddlesteamer that was in service in 1911 - my g/gdad was the engineer at that time.

Anyone know where I can find more info

Thanks

Julie

She may have been Julie. I was born in 1933 about 4 years after my Mum and Dad married. I don't know when she ceased running. I'll try to find out more about her. Regards Ruby in Australia
